Custom table numbers are important not only to match the concept and decor but also to give a complete look to the tabletop design. When I designed and created the first destination wedding back in 2004 with 650 guests, I realized the importance of the custom table numbers.
Just like linen is important to dress each table at wedding reception so is the table number. The standard table numbers in black and white that most venues use, take away the personalized touch and many a time, block the view of the tall stunning florals with the tall number holders. I would highly recommend to let the stationary designer create unique numbers to blend with the color, theme for the wedding along with your invitations.
You would only need the table number holders when the design requires, or it may come with the base. The table numbers should be clear, clean and precise since it will guide the guest to the assigned table identifying the seating.
You can also personalize the table numbers by adding the couple’s name and wedding date. There are so many designs that you could get in the market when you forgot to order along with the invitations. I love the Luxury one’s designed by CeciNewYork and Gourmet invitations and above sharing two of the their unique table numbers. Both the vendors, I find very creative and over the top customer service based on my personal experience.
What do think of having custom table number to complement the theme and decor?
Love to hear what you have to say.
