Have you entered a house where you felt as lost in the maze of things around you, or you may have felt that it needs a magic touch! Sometimes, it is the last on "do list" when comes to Interior Design. But entrance plays an important role when it comes to the guest entering your home for the first time.
Most of the time, I see that it has been overlooked or added too much that it loses the perspective of the entryway. Another thing I always mention to my clients is that it should reflect you and your thoughts on hospitality. If you happen to have something to add as flavor of your heritage or traditions to make your entryway dramatic as you enter then do it without a second thought.
Do not place too many things because overcrowded entryway convey a lot about your life in general. An entryway creates the very first everlasting impression of who you are. Sharing quite a few images that I found on Pinterest and thought these might inspire you as well.
Here are a couple of things that would put you on the right track and help you undertake this project with ease in case you have not hired any Interior designer. Ask yourself before beginning the interior design project for your home by yourself as what is important to you and how you want to present yourself to the extended family, friends, and social circle. List the things that are important your other family living with you. Do not worry too much about the trends and be a trend setter. Look around in the house for anything that could make your entrance look distinct.
Have you ever thought about redesigning the entrance? If yes, How you plan to do it?
Love to hear what you have to say!
